Technical Program Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Full remote; candidates must be located in Italy or Spain. Work from anywhere for up to 30 days per year.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure programs, including planning, execution, tracking, reporting, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, escalation paths, ownership, and resource constraints.
• Align Infrastructure, Security, Product, Operations, and Engineering teams through planning sessions and operational reviews.
• Use Jira, YouTrack, delivery metrics, adoption metrics, and operational KPIs to identify bottlenecks and improve engineering workflows.
• Manage third-party infrastructure vendors, contract renewals, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance reviews including DORA, GDPR, and security assessments.
• Facilitate technical workshops and on-site collaboration while clarifying priorities, success criteria, and execution plans for complex infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Technical Program Management, Infrastructure Program Management, or Technical Project Management.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and platform engineering environments.
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies and complex cross-functional technical programs.
• Hands-on experience with YouTrack, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, organization, stakeholder management, influencing, alignment, and executive reporting skills.
• Must be located in Italy or Spain for this full remote position.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, networking, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Technical or engineering background, such as engineering, systems administration, or DevOps experience.
• Experience with operational excellence, SRE practices, engineering effectiveness, or platform adoption.
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.
