Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska. Hybrid work is required if located near a hirify.global office in Pewaukee, Wisconsin; Omaha, Nebraska; Glen Allen, Virginia; or Henderson, Nevada. U.S. work authorization is required. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. CST.

Starting pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience and education. The broader U.S. base salary range for the role is $16.36-$34.05 per hour, with potential annual performance bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing customers with insurance questions.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate level when necessary.
• Handle first notice of loss claims calls, payments, reinstatements, billing questions, and online password resets.
• Provide clear, professional communication and work toward first-call resolution.
• Maintain current knowledge of procedures, products, programs, and department service standards.
• Meet performance expectations related to schedule adherence, quality assurance, average handling time, and speed of answer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer, grammar, communication, and multitasking skills, including the ability to work in multiple systems.
• Ability to work reliably in a fast-paced team environment and maintain regular, on-time attendance.
• Property and casualty insurance license preferred but not required.
• Two or more years of insurance sales or service experience preferred.
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Some college education.
• Bilingual communication skills.
• Previous remote working experience.
