Commercial Finance Lead (Metals Recycling)

Location: Hybrid, with the ability to travel to or work from Paris, Lyon, or Geneva; office in Nanterre

hirify.global develops a wire-forming technology that produces high-conductivity copper wire from scrap copper without smelting or refining, supporting circular copper production and the energy transition.

What you will do

• Own the working capital strategy across feedstock inventory, processing cycles, receivables, payables, settlement timing, metal price volatility, and FX exposure.
• Structure and evaluate secondary feedstock supply agreements covering scrap, residues, intermediates, pricing mechanisms, yields, penalties, and escalation clauses.
• Lead the financial structuring and review of offtake and customer contracts, including indexation, volume commitments, take-or-pay terms, credit conditions, and prepayments.
• Build financial models for commercial contracts and provide recommendations on profitability, cash-flow timing, downside risk, and financing requirements.
• Assess counterparty credit risk and define credit limits, collateral, security packages, and payment protections.
• Establish commercial contract governance and partner with procurement, sales, operations, legal, treasury, lenders, investors, and strategic partners.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in commercial finance, ideally in metals recycling, base metals, commodities, or industrial processing.
• Strong understanding of secondary feedstock pricing, yield variability, metal indexation, and working capital dynamics.
• Experience structuring complex feedstock and offtake agreements in cash- and balance-sheet-intensive environments.
• Strong commercial judgment, financial modelling, stakeholder management, and counterparty risk skills.
• Fluent English required; French is a strong plus.
• Willingness to work from Paris, Lyon, or Geneva.
