Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Palo Alto, California, United States

Base salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, with potential equity awards.

What you will do

• Design and build high-performance, reliable, and scalable network acceleration software.
• Contribute to distributed systems architecture and implementation.
• Develop software for AI fabrics that improves observability, fault tolerance, and traffic performance.
• Debug complex systems and solve performance and reliability problems.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in at least one of C, C++, Golang, Java, or Python.
• Strong communication, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of distributed systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, California.

Nice to have

• Operating systems expertise, including threads, scheduling, process synchronization, or kernel programming.
• Computer networks expertise, including networking stacks, protocols, queuing theory, or congestion control.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
• Full-stack development experience.
