Program Manager, Product Development (Remote - US) (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Remote within the United States; up to 10% long-distance or air travel may be required.

What you will do

• Plan and manage product development programs, portfolios, quarterly, biannual, and annual R&D investment planning, and integrated product delivery plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional strategic projects and stakeholder execution across product management, finance, engineering, and other teams.
• Support financial planning, budget tracking, expenditure forecasting, departmental reporting, KPI tracking, and reporting standardization.
• Improve product development processes, governance, documentation, roadmaps, and program management practices across pace, cost, and quality.
• Manage release plans, launch readiness, training materials, internal education, and annual user conference planning for discovery and innovation sessions.
• Identify program interdependencies, risks, and roadblocks; coordinate mitigation and maintain synchronized execution against milestones.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing a variety of technical projects and programs.
• Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or Jellyfish; data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; and financial tracking tools.
• Ability to analyze data, track performance metrics, and generate insights for decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing work, and executing in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience partnering with senior and executive leadership in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing business needs, develop creative solutions, remain self-motivated and action-oriented, and manage multiple processes under pressure.

Nice to have

• Background in SaaS platforms and products.
• Professional project or program management certification such as PMP.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
