Senior AI Applied Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and deliver complex AI-enabled product capabilities across UI, APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Lead the adoption of agentic tooling, LLM workflows, and AI automation to accelerate development.
• Own major product features and subsystems end to end, ensuring production readiness and security.
• Review designs and code, provide technical guidance, and mentor peers.
• Resolve complex cross-system issues and plan major refactoring initiatives.
• Champion performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, including software design.
• Strong knowledge of Java, microservices, Spring Boot, Maven, and CI/CD.
• Experience with relational databases, Spring JPA, Hibernate, cloud platforms, and Apache Tomcat.
• Understanding of security, performance, scalability, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to gain support from technical stakeholders and team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with Netflix OSS.
• Experience in banking or fintech products.
