AI Engineer (Junior/Middle)

What you will do

• Architect and build AI agentic systems with planning, memory, tool use, multi-agent delegation, evaluation loops, and guardrails.
• Design and productionize LLM-powered applications, including prompt and context strategies, retrieval and reranking, structured outputs, streaming, and multimodal workflows.
• Build evaluation datasets, online LLM-as-judge loops, regression harnesses, and metrics focused on user impact.
• Optimize AI systems for latency and cost through caching, batching, model routing, token management, and performance monitoring.
• Develop APIs, inference services, RAG and embedding pipelines, and CPU/GPU deployments using modern AI platform and MLOps practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders while contributing to technical reviews, open-source projects, and engineering mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience building real-world AI, AI agent, or LLM-based applications.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, transformers, attention, positional encoding, KV cache, tokenization, and sampling.
• Production experience with agent systems, multimodal models, LLM applications, RAG pipelines, APIs, and inference services.
• Senior-level Python engineering skills, including asynchronous programming, typing, testing, packaging, observability, and Git.
• Fluent English communication skills are required for collaboration with international stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent coordination, delegation, sub-agent protocols, and MCP-style tool servers.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or AKS, Azure AI services, GPU inference, vLLM, or NVIDIA Triton.
• Experience contributing to open-source agent frameworks and working with coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
