Technical Trainer (Network Surveillance)

Location: Remote in Canada; approximately 70% travel required, including in-person training and customer engagements.

Pay range: CAD 100,000–115,000 total compensation, including 90% base pay, 10% commission OTE, and corporate bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver in-person and virtual technical courses for internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Develop presentations, educational courses, webinars, customized training, and new content for the Canadian market.
• Plan the Academy course schedule with the sales team and track attendance and training goals through KPIs.
• Conduct needs analysis, attendee surveys, and program improvements based on feedback.
• Maintain training-centre equipment and technical expertise across the Axis product portfolio.
• Represent Axis at training initiatives, new product programs, and tradeshows while supporting internal technical development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in training or professional development.
• 2+ years of experience in network surveillance, CCTV, or physical security.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent relationship management, organization, flexibility, self-discipline, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel independently and productively; approximately 70% travel is expected.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Axis Certified Professional, PSP, CPP, or similar certification.
• Fluency in French.
