Senior Malware Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Investigate malware samples surfaced by the Triage analysis sandbox and identify emerging malware families.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of malicious samples across Windows, macOS, and Android.
• Write and maintain YARA rules, behavioral detections, and configuration extractors.
• Extract actionable intelligence such as C2 servers, campaign IDs, and encryption keys.
• Validate and tune detections to minimize false positives.
• Improve analysis tooling and methodology and influence future sandbox features.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of sandbox systems, including behavioral analysis, hooking, monitoring, and evasion detection.
• Deep knowledge of Windows, Android, or macOS internals, including process and memory models, file formats, APIs, and OS-level mechanisms abused by malware.
• Practical experience writing YARA rules, behavioral detections, and configuration extractors.
• Experience contributing to public or private detection rule sets.
• Familiarity with Go.
• Ability to work asynchronously and independently.
