Founding Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden — onsite

Builds sovereign AI infrastructure for European public sector organisations handling sensitive data.

What you will do

• Assess the security posture and establish visibility across cloud and air-gapped on-premises infrastructure.
• Conduct threat and risk assessments and turn findings into a prioritised security roadmap.
• Close the highest-priority security gaps and build reliable incident response processes.
• Own security as a company-wide discipline, maintaining policies and coordinating engineering decisions.
• Drive BSI C5 readiness from the security and infrastructure side as operations expand into Germany.
• Maintain existing ISO coverage and support security as the product scales across Europe.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SIEM systems and Kubernetes security.
• Ability to prioritise security work by risk and focus effort on the highest-impact issues.
• Previous compliance experience with the ability to lead compliance initiatives independently.
• Comfort with being the first security hire and establishing the function from scratch.
• Ability to work onsite in Stockholm, Sweden.
