What you will do
- Develop sophisticated distributed web applications and scalable software with minimal supervision.
- Design and build JSON and REST services, APIs, integrations, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to system design, technical documentation, code reviews, releases, and advanced refactoring.
- Identify technical risks, resolve complex bugs, and improve product quality, security, and maintainability.
- Partner with product and analytics teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Onboard, mentor, and guide junior engineers while leading small to moderate projects when needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Python experience in distributed web application environments, including microservices, databases, queues, topics, caches, containers, or serverless systems.
- Experience with AWS services and APIs or an equivalent cloud provider.
- Experience with Linux and OS X, Git, CI/CD pipelines, deployment methodologies, and Agile development.
- Experience with large-scale web applications, third-party APIs, workflow and integration architectures.
- Understanding of OWASP, advanced debugging, technical communication, and mentoring.

- Project leadership experience.

- Experience integrating AI and machine learning services, APIs, or models.
