Senior Manager, AI Forward Deployed Engineering - London

What you will do

• Lead and scale the EMEA AI Forward Deployed Engineering professional services team through hiring, mentoring, and organisational design.
• Build executive relationships with EMEA customers and partners, including VP-, CIO-, and CDO-level stakeholders.
• Guide complex technical engagements, AI transformations, strategic account planning, and delivery coordination with Sales and Field Engineering.
• Develop scalable AI services initiatives, standardised delivery processes, engagement models, and reusable solutions.
• Influence Product, R&D, and go-to-market strategy with customer insights and delivery learnings.
• Own account-related OKRs, revenue, utilisation, public references, and Databricks thought leadership in AI and ML.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing, hiring, and building high-performing data science and machine learning teams and leaders.
• Experience scoping, guiding, and selling technical engagements, managing escalations, and delivering enterprise solutions.
• Deep technical expertise in machine learning, GenAI, and data science.
• Experience leading production machine learning solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven ability to develop strategies with senior executives, align technical vision, and build trust during complex enterprise engagements.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience, with cross-functional leadership across Sales, Product, and GTM.
