Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Embed with customers to understand operational workflows, data, constraints, and business bottlenecks.
• Lead technical discovery and translate customer needs into scoped, shipped systems.
• Design and deliver full-lifecycle front-end and back-end features, APIs, and event-driven services across hirify.global Cloud and customer systems.
• Build AI-backed features involving data pipelines, model serving, retrieval, evaluation, and workflow integrations.
• Ship initial solutions quickly, then improve monitoring, feedback loops, reliability, and production readiness.
• Communicate technical trade-offs to product owners, customer architects, and non-technical stakeholders while informing the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern general-purpose programming language; Python experience or the ability to learn it quickly.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native services, particularly with Azure, AKS, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Azure-hosted AI services.
• Hands-on production experience with LLM integrations, agentic applications, tool and API orchestration, retrieval and RAG systems, embeddings, vector stores, and evaluation.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication and authorization, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps or ArgoCD, Terraform, data pipelines, and distributed or event-driven systems.
• Ability to work directly with customers, operate effectively in ambiguity, and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with MCP, enterprise or ERP software, project- or asset-heavy industries, consulting, or solution engineering.
• Experience working with platform or infrastructure teams and globally distributed Agile teams.
