Senior Director, Global Planning Joint Reconstruction, DePuy Synthes (MedTech)

Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland; the position is based in Cork and requires approximately 20–30% travel.

Base pay: €128,000–€219,995 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the global planning function for the Joint Reconstruction platforms covering hips, knees, and other joints.
• Design, operate, and continuously improve global planning and Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Lead supply planning execution, including net requirements, distribution requirements planning, and STEM, to ensure product availability.
• Optimize the global planning network through systems, testing, master data, inventory planning, and planning parameter improvements.
• Own service, inventory, forecast accuracy, manufacturing attainment, excess and obsolete inventory, launch, and productivity metrics.
• Develop a team of approximately 70 employees and represent Global Planning on the Joints End-to-End Supply Chain Leadership Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience in a complex supply chain environment with a proven Supply Chain Planning leadership record.
• Experience developing customer-centric end-to-end supply chain strategies and delivering business results.
• Ability to drive process improvements, prioritize, influence stakeholders, and collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work from Cork, Ireland and travel approximately 20–30%.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with process excellence tools and operational improvement.
• Experience in healthcare or another complex, regulatory-dependent sector.
• APICS, CSCP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
