Project Executive (Electrical Construction)

Location: Renton, Washington, United States; on-site

Salary: $170,000–$225,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus

What you will do

• Lead a business unit with full profit-and-loss accountability and oversight of 25+ million dollars in annual revenue.
• Manage multiple concurrent electrical construction projects while maintaining financial targets, quality standards, safety, schedules, and profitability.
• Oversee contract administration, claims and dispute resolution, estimating, procurement, project turnover, forecasting, and closeout.
• Develop client relationships and maintain professional partnerships with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and administrative staff.
• Maintain annual business plans, lead project reviews, communicate risks and results, and implement continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in construction project delivery, including full P&L responsibility for a $25M+ business unit.
• Extensive electrical construction or specialty contracting experience, including estimating, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, and cost forecasting.
• Proven experience recruiting, mentoring, managing performance, and developing senior project management teams.
• Advanced financial and business acumen with expertise in forecasting, budget control, risk management, profitability, and strategic planning.
• Strong leadership of construction safety, quality, compliance, customer relationships, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent substantial industry experience.
