Sr Manager, Market Research (Pharmaceutical)

Location: US - Illinois - Chicago; flex commuter/hybrid role based in Deerfield

Salary: $155,747.20–$210,716.80 annual base salary

What you will do

• Partner with commercial and brand teams to frame business questions and translate primary market research into strategic guidance.
• Interpret and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research using dashboards, analytics tools, and AI-enabled capabilities such as MRAgent.
• Identify insights, risks, opportunities, and strategic trade-offs across studies, time periods, and data sources.
• Own KPI definitions, business rules, analytic intent, data quality, methodological rigor, and trend continuity for assigned brands and studies.
• Facilitate strategic discussions, support adoption of new research tools, and improve market research capabilities and processes.
• Coach PMR team members and collaborate with cross-functional partners to increase analytical judgment and stakeholder confidence.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of market research or related experience; or master’s degree and 4 years; or bachelor’s degree and 6 years.
• Expertise in primary market research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills with senior audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across functions in a matrixed environment and influence decision-making.
• Ability to work in the Chicago/Deerfield hybrid commuter setup.
