TL;DR

Therapeutic Area Analytics & Insights Senior Manager (CVRM): Developing actionable insights and strategic recommendations for the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism therapeutic area with an accent on market research, forecasting, and competitive intelligence. Focus on synthesizing complex datasets into strategic options to guide in-line and pipeline asset decisions.

Location: Must be based in South San Francisco, CA. Relocation benefits are not available.

Salary: $153,600 - $285,200 USD Annual

What you will do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deeply understand business needs, key questions, and priorities.
  • Perform custom analyses using analytic techniques to address complex business challenges.
  • Develop strategic options and recommendations by synthesizing findings across therapeutic areas and ecosystems.
  • Guide offshore teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and high-quality deliverables.
  • Integrate analytical products into workflows and foster a product-first culture.
  • Execute market research, revenue forecasting, and competitive intelligence tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA or Graduate-level degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience synthesizing concise summaries that inform critical business decisions.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools including Python, R, and SQL.
  • Ability to operate autonomously within a highly-matrixed organization.
  • Must be based in South San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Life Sciences, or Mathematics.
  • Working knowledge of secondary data sources, including syndicated sales and longitudinal patient level data.
  • In-depth understanding of US payers and trends in pricing and reimbursement.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and presenting results to non-technical audiences.
