What you will do

• Support patients throughout their clinic visit, escorting them to exam rooms and keeping rooms clean and stocked.
• Review medical information, collect updated health data, take vital signs, draw blood, administer injections, dress wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Perform front-desk and care coordination duties, including scheduling, check-in and check-out, referrals, specialist visits, and medical record requests.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results as directed by the provider.
• Participate in patient outreach and help identify and address gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and required in states where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
