Assistant Manager (Retail)

Location: Southaven, Mississippi, United States; onsite retail store role

What you will do

• Drive sales results through business analysis, customer service, product knowledge, and brand representation.
• Manage opening and closing routines, salesfloor and stockroom operations, and overall store efficiency.
• Conduct staffing, scheduling, payroll management, and daily team coordination.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop non-management staff.
• Build visual displays, provide styling recommendations, and maintain brand presentation.
• Manage inventory control, protect store assets, operate point-of-sale systems, and fulfill omnichannel orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Ability to coach others, take initiative, demonstrate confidence, and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and ability to demonstrate product and brand knowledge.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, stay detail-oriented, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think proactively and apply learning to operational and business decisions.
