Senior SRE DHCP & DNS

Location: Onsite at 8200 Dixie Rd, Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Travel requirements are up to 10%.

What you will do

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Prime Cable Provisioning for DOCSIS provisioning systems.
• Support GPON and DOCSIS DHCP services using Cisco Prime Network Registrar.
• Administer and optimize DNS, DHCP, and TFTP services, including Infoblox integrations.
• Perform advanced Linux administration, system upgrades, patching, tuning, and production troubleshooting.
• Write and maintain Bash and Python scripts for system automation.
• Support incident response, problem management, capacity planning, network deployments, testing documentation, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of CableLabs DOCSIS specifications and experience with GPON service provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Prime Cable Provisioning and Cisco Prime Network Registrar.
• Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, TFTP, Infoblox solutions, TCP/IP protocols, packet capture, and analysis tools.
• Advanced Linux system administration and VMware deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, network security practices, monitoring principles, KPI collection, and data trending.
• Entry-level to intermediate Bash and Python scripting skills, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration abilities.
