Engineer I

Location: Richmond, Virginia; work at the Sweet Sue Solar site in Aylett, Virginia

Salary: $33–$35 per hour, W-2

What you will do

• Apply engineering concepts, fundamentals, and theories to solve complex problems.
• Interpret and follow applicable codes, regulations, and industry practices.
• Use engineering software programs and tools to support project work.
• Develop planning, project management, and organizational skills while handling multiple tasks.
• Provide engineering solutions and collaborate with the project team to achieve goals.
• Operate a vehicle on behalf of the company and work overtime when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, fundamentals, and theory.
• Strong analytical, abstract-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with computers and software applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
• Ability to operate a vehicle on behalf of the company.
