Power Platform Business Process Automation Consultant

What you will do

• Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements.
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and document workflows, pain points, desired outcomes, and solution procedures.
• Design, build, test, and support Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
• Develop Power Automate workflows for business processes, approvals, notifications, and exception handling.
• Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, SQL, and other enterprise data sources.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, demonstrations, governance activities, end-user training, and adoption support.

Requirements

• Must be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.
• At least 2 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• At least 2 years of experience in operations, business process management, or operational excellence.
• At least 5 years of business execution, implementation, or strategic planning experience, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Dataverse, Excel, SQL, enterprise data integrations, and business requirements analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, listening, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, regulatory operations, information management, risk, compliance, or enterprise content management.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Fx, APIs, custom connectors, or enterprise-scale automation programs.
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
