Bus Sys Analyst Specialist

Location: Remote within the USA; final-round interviews take place onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

What you will do

• Analyze Medicare, Medicaid, and TennCare claims initiatives and regulatory changes.
• Assess business and system impacts, define business rules, and document requirements.
• Identify system constraints, implications, and consequences of proposed changes.
• Lead requirements analysis and verification across business and technical teams.
• Direct business process improvement efforts and identify opportunities to improve requirements gathering and documentation.
• Serve as a project lead, business systems analyst lead, or technical lead on small to medium efforts and manage phases of larger projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in information technology and systems analysis.
• At least 1 year leading requirements development efforts and at least 1 year of systems analysis, design, and project management experience.
• Business analysis, root cause analysis, requirements documentation, and systems impact assessment skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into information meaningful to business and project teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Healthcare payer or health insurance experience.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, claims processing, or CMS initiatives.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and federal or state mandates.
• Experience with data mapping, systems integrations, or SQL queries and database analysis.
