Network Engineer (AWS)

Location: Relocation to Mexico and on-site work at the Mexico office required

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Juniper and Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, access points, wireless controllers, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS solutions.
• Support VoIP and wireless networks while optimizing WAN performance through BGP, QoS, and dynamic routing.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors on WAN channels and network projects.
• Resolve AWS networking tasks, including Direct Connect and VPN configuration.
• Implement security policies and procedures with the security team.
• Create L2/L3 low-level designs, automate network operations with Python and Ansible, and provide L2/L3 troubleshooting support.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in banking or finance.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VPC, STP, QoS, IPSec, VPN, 802.11, 802.1x, TCP/IP, and the OSI model.
• Experience with SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, AWS networking, Direct Connect, and VPNs.
• English at B1 level or higher and willingness to relocate to Mexico for on-site work.

Nice to have

• CCNP, JNCIP-ENT, JNCIS-DC, or equivalent certification.
• Spanish language knowledge.
