Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: New York; on-site expectation of 4

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity compensation.

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features with frontend exposure.
• Collaborate with clients, product managers, designers, and other nontechnical stakeholders to translate real-world needs into technical solutions.
• Own projects from concept through deployment and release.
• Use modern AI tools as part of the daily engineering workflow.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to explain system design conversationally.
• Hands-on project experience, including team-based development.
• Full-stack orientation with frontend experience.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with nontechnical stakeholders.
• On-site work is expected in New York.

Nice to have

• Experience taking a project from zero to one, deployment, and release.
• Background in fintech or another regulated industry.
• Client-facing or product-facing experience with product managers or executive stakeholders.
