Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco or Remote (US); the role is marked as on-site

Salary: L4 Mid-level $180,000–$220,000 annually with equity; L5 Senior $220,000–$350,000 annually with equity

What you will do

• Lead customer deployments from discovery through implementation, launch, and adoption.
• Build and debug solutions across APIs, integrations, identity, data, and customer environments.
• Partner with customer engineering, IT, security, and business teams to deliver production-grade deployments.
• Communicate clearly, solve problems in real time, and challenge requests that would not produce the right outcome.
• Turn recurring customer needs into product improvements, reusable integrations, and stronger playbooks.

Requirements

• Experience shipping production software directly with customers.
• Ability to work across the stack and investigate unexpected system behavior.
• Clear communication with both technical and business audiences.
• Ability to remain composed when requirements are incomplete or timelines are tight.
• Ownership of delivery through launch and adoption.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in voice, machine learning, or specific customer technology stacks is not required.
