Utility Foreman (Construction)

Location: Northern Virginia; candidates must be authorized to work full time in the United States

Salary: $30.00–$50.00 per hour

What you will do

• Supervise utility construction crews and coordinate with the Project Management Team.
• Perform operations to meet job cost, schedule, and production goals.
• Organize and schedule field work and support project-related tasks.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, employees, inspectors, owners’ representatives, and coworkers.
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and requirements.
• Manage material and equipment needs and complete required paperwork.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising and managing individuals.
• Ability to read plans and understand construction standards and specifications.
• Ability to organize, plan, and schedule work.
• Strong communication skills with employees, vendors, inspectors, and owners’ representatives.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening and be authorized to work full time in the United States.
