Pipe Foreman (Heavy Civil Construction)

Location: Denver, CO; work is performed primarily on active construction job sites. Travel may be required.

Salary: $125,000–$142,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and motivate pipe crews installing storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and associated underground utility structures.
• Interpret project plans, specifications, grades, and company standards to direct daily field work.
• Coordinate crew activities, manpower, equipment, and materials to meet productivity and project schedule goals.
• Conduct pre-task planning and daily safety meetings while monitoring trench safety, excavation, utility locating, and shoring practices.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Surveyors, and other trades to maintain workflow.
• Track production, inspect completed work, and maintain timecards, daily logs, reports, and safety records.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of underground utility construction experience and 2 years leading pipe crews or working in a foreman-level role.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, trenching, excavation, grading, utility construction methods, and heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to use power and non-power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and in active construction environments with heavy equipment, traffic, and other hazards.
• Ability to walk, stand, climb, bend, crouch, kneel, and periodically lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong motivation, time management, multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail.
