Data Scientist III (Healthcare)

Location: Remote-MO; must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship

Salary: $107,700–$199,300 per year

What you will do

• Develop predictive, statistical, machine learning, and forecasting models for Marketplace membership and related business outcomes.
• Build data assets, feature engineering pipelines, analytical datasets, and tools for forecasting and reporting.
• Analyze complex data sources to identify market trends, structural changes, and business drivers affecting forecast performance.
• Design experiments, monitor key metrics, and evaluate health management program outcomes using provider, claims, and membership data.
• Support technical delivery through requirements gathering, documentation, testing, user adoption, and collaboration with Health Plan stakeholders.
• Present analytical findings, manage multiple projects, and assist with training Data Analysts.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics, Econometrics, Engineering, or a related experimental science field with 5+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
• Experience in data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical modeling, large-scale data acquisition and transformation, and structured and unstructured data analysis.
• Experience with database technologies including Teradata, MS SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Strong experience with statistical and analytical programming; R, Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Posit, and JupyterHub are highly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Sponsorship is not available, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, and CPT.
