2nd Shift Finishing OP, 2pm-10pm

Location: 8035 3A, Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449, USA. Onsite, full-time second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; overtime, including short-notice requests, may be required.

What you will do

• Sort, label, inspect, and package finished goods according to customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
• Operate manual packaging processes, prepare cores, band finished rolls, and keep packaging materials supplied.
• Track multiple orders and communicate operational information across shifts and departments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, perform 5S duties and audits, and support equipment maintenance.
• Participate in problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities focused on quality and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work reliably in a team-based production environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, service, flexibility, dependability, and root-cause problem solving.
• Proficiency with computer applications, especially MFG Pro transactional functions.
• Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Final candidates must successfully complete a post-offer background check and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Three to five or more years of previous manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude, mathematical ability, interpersonal skills, and logical problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading continuous improvement efforts or familiarity with ELS Operating Principles.
• Experience working independently and in a team environment.
