Senior Director, Business Operations, MES (Manufacturing)

Location: Danbury, Connecticut, United States; requires travel of up to 25% to global manufacturing sites.

Salary: $187,000–$266,500 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the MES business operating system, including monthly and quarterly business reviews, executive reporting, KPI scorecards, and action tracking.
• Coordinate annual operating planning, long-range planning, portfolio governance, investment prioritization, and capital planning.
• Drive accountability for strategic initiatives, AOP and SLRP objectives, risks, decisions, and execution milestones.
• Provide commercial performance analytics for pipeline reviews, sales operations, revenue forecasting, and opportunity governance.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of customer escalations, ownership gaps, and execution barriers.
• Lead strategic transformation initiatives and support M&A diligence, integration planning, and execution readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, finance, business operations, or supply chain within highly regulated, global environments.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation programs, capital planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Expertise in SLRP, AOP, CAPEX governance, and operational finance integration.
• Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority in a highly matrixed global organization.
• Executive presence and clear communication with senior leaders, customers, and external stakeholders; willingness to travel up to 25%.
