Lease Engineer (Satellite Communications)

What you will do

• Process spectrum lease requests, manage technical data, and maintain accurate lease records.
• Collaborate with frequency planners, lease customers, operations coordinators, and site hosts to implement leases and lead calibration activities.
• Respond to incidents affecting lease operations and communicate with customers.
• Review lease performance, record outages, and support service assurance activities.
• Investigate customer performance issues and guide customers through infrastructure changes.
• Identify and implement process improvements for smoother lease operations.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a similar environment, such as telecommunications or military communications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Consistent and accessible record-keeping practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and influence others.
• Availability for on-call support on a shift basis.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with customers to investigate and resolve communications service issues.
• Familiarity with communications monitoring systems and carrier power measurements.
