Cyber Ecosystem Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom. Applicants must demonstrate the right to work in the UK. This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

hirify.global is an educational and research institution involved in cybersecurity research and the Digital Innovation Security Hub project.

What you will do

• Manage the University’s operational involvement in the Digital Innovation Security Hub project and help deliver key project milestones.
• Coordinate delivery across Cyber Ecosystem programmes and projects, including Cyber Focus, Cyber Com, the North West Cyber Corridor, and the Centre for Digital Innovation.
• Liaise with partner organisations including GMCA, Manchester City Council, universities, Plexal, and Barclays Eagle Labs.
• Maintain communication among researchers, academics, SMEs, external partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Contribute to project strategy and planning, including budget planning and financial management.
• Administer the project, ensuring timely delivery, professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with University policies.

Requirements

• Experience delivering complex projects to strict deadlines and achieving successful outcomes.
• Experience with budget planning and financial management for large projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple organisations, sharing objectives and resources, and enabling effective communication.
• Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with academic, external, and industry stakeholders.
• Right to work in the UK is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Prince2 or a similar project management qualification.
• Event management experience.
• Understanding of inter-institutional negotiations and potential conflicts of interest.
