Business Analyst

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to gather requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and actionable delivery plans.
• Analyze current-state and future-state processes, perform fit-gap assessments, and recommend configuration or development approaches.
• Develop test scenarios and scripts, coordinate system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, and validate defect fixes.
• Coordinate release planning, cutover, implementation, post-go-live support, timelines, dependencies, and handoffs across multiple System Integrator partners.
• Support stakeholder adoption through process documentation, training materials, user feedback, and ongoing platform optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise software, technology, or business transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements into solutions across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with QA, UAT, testing, defect resolution, implementation, data validation, and migration activities.
• Strong business process analysis, stakeholder management, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work across business and technology teams in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
