What you will do

• Audit the Twilio to real-time AI call bridge, including media streams, ConversationRelay, inbound invokes, outbound callbacks, retries, and reconciliation.
• Assess the voice service’s production readiness, including health checks, capacity limits, alerting, and incident response.
• Review AI session logic, routes, background jobs, and database schemas supporting voice calls.
• Prepare findings and a prioritized implementation roadmap.
• Provide part-time advisory support on architecture, webhook contracts, telephony integrations, and production operability.

Requirements

• Experience with voice-specific AI systems and real-time or streaming LLM sessions.
• Experience with containerized AI workloads on AWS and TypeScript or JavaScript for real-time web and edge integrations.
• Knowledge of latency management, interruption handling, turn-taking, graceful degradation, and constrained voice-agent prompt design.
• Experience with Twilio, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, GPT-4o-mini, Amazon Connect, KVS, Amazon Transcribe, text-to-speech, and related voice technologies.
• Knowledge of sentiment and outcome extraction from completed calls, including validation approaches.
• Understanding of PostgreSQL, WebSockets, gRPC, WebRTC, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, and NLP or speech-processing toolkits such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
