Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York City, with 4 days per week in the office. The posting header also references Tel-Aviv, IL.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and evolve GKE-based Kubernetes infrastructure across internal and enterprise partner environments.
• Build and maintain modular Terraform infrastructure across GCP, Cloudflare, and AWS, including automated testing.
• Develop shared GitLab CI/CD pipeline templates for building, testing, security scanning, and deployment.
• Operate self-hosted infrastructure software, including GitLab, ArgoCD, Langfuse, DependencyTrack, and NGINX Ingress.
• Implement security, compliance, disaster recovery, monitoring, and incident-response practices.
• Lead AI-powered operations tooling initiatives, improve engineering standards, and mentor junior DevOps engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.
• Advanced Kubernetes experience with Helm, Helmfile, ArgoCD, Kyverno, cert-manager, and NGINX Ingress.
• Extensive experience with GCP services including GKE, Cloud SQL, Memorystore, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Workload Identity.
• Strong Terraform expertise, including modular architecture, multi-environment provisioning, and automated testing.
• Advanced GitLab CI/CD and GitOps knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bash, Akeyless or HashiCorp Vault, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Datadog, Cloudflare, and AWS.
• Experience designing disaster recovery programs, failover testing, and operational runbooks.
• Experience with SOC2, HIPAA, HPC or GPU clusters, Slurm, AI agents, microservices, or API gateway and reverse proxy patterns.
• Leadership experience and the ability to lead cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.
