Sr. Government Program Development Manager (AI)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; onsite full-time. Hybrid and remote work are not considered. Travel to company sites, vendors, and customers may reach 50%.

Salary: $115,000–$165,000 annually, plus potential long-term incentives, bonuses, and stock purchase opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop government stakeholder engagement strategies, capture plans, and pipelines for supercomputing solutions.
• Build relationships with Department of War and Service-level decision-makers, program managers, and technical evaluators.
• Identify business opportunities combining space sensing, AI, and supercomputing for intelligence and operational missions.
• Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs, Sources Sought notices, and other government solicitations.
• Conduct competition analysis and market research to refine the opportunity roadmap.
• Coordinate engineering, mission management, finance, contracts, and external partners throughout program development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of business development or account management experience in the Department of War, AI industry, or technology industrial base.
• Knowledge of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles used by the Department of War.
• Experience with AI/ML, data analytics, aerospace, government space systems, or technical project management.
• Experience supporting classified environments and modernizing government AI/ML capabilities is preferred.
• Must be able to hold a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Must satisfy U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in science, policy, business, international affairs, or a related field.
• Direct Department of War sales or program development experience.
• Capture leadership experience in startups, government compute, or cloud compute.
• Experience with agent workflows, generative AI, machine lifecycle management, cloud hyperscalers, or systems integrators.
