Onboarding Specialist

Location: Bastrop, Texas, United States; onsite. Relocation to the Bastrop area is required if not already local.

What you will do

• Manage and scale the domestic employee onboarding program.
• Design, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve orientation and onboarding programs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain accurate new-hire information, policies, and resources.
• Use onboarding systems including Workday, Jira, and Greenhouse, and track program metrics.
• Prepare weekly orientations and respond promptly to new-hire questions.
• Partner with HR leadership to improve employee experiences and create resources for hiring managers and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in onboarding, learning and development, human resources, or program management.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work extended hours or weekends when required.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements, including qualifying U.S. citizenship or immigration status, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience leading projects from inception through implementation.
• Familiarity with SharePoint or another content management system.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse and Workday.
• Expertise in onboarding.
