HR Manager

Location: North Jackson, Ohio, United States; onsite role

What you will do

• Administer HR activities including employment, employee relations, corrective action, compensation, policy interpretation, and personnel records.
• Coach managers and employees, provide guidance on HR policies, and develop proactive employee relations strategies.
• Lead site HR programs covering performance management, learning and development, talent assessment, benefits, and onboarding.
• Manage recruitment activities, including applicant screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and exit interviews.
• Handle leave administration, investigations, compliance activities, and geographically specific HR initiatives.
• Analyze turnover, support retention efforts, train managers on HR topics, and advise on compensation and benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, strong employee relations skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
