EPM Solution Engineer (Oracle EPM)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work model with up to 20% travel and collaboration across global time zones.

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support Hyperion, Essbase, and related Oracle EPM applications.
• Validate technical designs and ensure development follows coding, architecture, security, and quality standards.
• Manage metadata, member lists, FX rates, business rules, calculation scripts, validation checks, reports, and dashboards.
• Monitor second- and third-level support, manage incidents and requests, and coordinate resolution with business, infrastructure, IT, and outsourcing teams.
• Support platform upgrades, ERP transformation initiatives, financial close, year-end rollover, patching, backups, and application copies.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders, solution architects, delivery managers, service providers, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with Hyperion or related EPM products in financial planning and budgeting, enterprise data management and Essbase, financial consolidation and closing, or EPM technical architecture.
• Hands-on experience with EPM development, including business rules, calculation scripts, metadata management, and reporting.
• Experience supporting, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise EPM applications.
• Strong IT Service Management and ITIL knowledge, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Ability to work across global teams, external partners, and multiple time zones.

• Oracle EPM Cloud experience.
• Experience with EPM upgrades, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
