Working Student (f/m/d) - AI & Data-Driven Cost Calculation

What you will do

• Collect, structure, validate, and cleanse historical cost and operational data from existing power-plant O&M sites.
• Help transform a manually maintained Excel cost-calculation tool into an automated, data-driven solution.
• Support the development and testing of AI-supported logic for estimating and forecasting costs for future O&M contracts.
• Implement Python scripts for data processing, calculations, and reporting.
• Evaluate results and document the tool’s methodology, assumptions, and limitations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Business Informatics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Programming expertise in Python for data processing, automation, and analytical applications.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing, such as Snowflake, data-mining methodologies, and large-scale data analysis.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, large language models, and AI-supported tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and an interest in data engineering, AI technologies, cost calculation, and controlling.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, independent working style, and initial practical experience from academic, internship, personal, or collaborative development projects.
