Environmental & Sustainability Senior Advisor

What you will do

• Support and develop the Environmental Management System in alignment with ISO 14001 standards.
• Lead preparations for the ISO 14001:2026 transition.
• Maintain environmental policies, procedures, governance documentation, and the Environmental Legal Register.
• Coordinate carbon footprint data and use the Watershed carbon accounting platform.
• Support sustainability reporting requirements, including CSRD, SECR, and ESOS.
• Monitor UK and European environmental, energy, and EV legislation while driving environmental awareness and continuous improvement across the business.

Requirements

• Approximately 4–5 years of experience in environmental or sustainability-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience gathering and analysing environmental or carbon-related data.
• Interest in sustainability reporting and evolving ESG requirements.
• Proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvement; curiosity about AI and digital sustainability tools.
