Licensing Compliance Sales Representative (Software Licensing)

Location: Shanghai, China — in-office. Travel as needed.

What you will do

• Investigate potential software license compliance issues using specialized tools and web research.
• Build and execute localized compliance strategies for the Structures division in mainland China.
• Analyze software license agreements and maintenance records to perform license reconciliations.
• Negotiate with compliance agencies and coordinate with internal legal representatives.
• Partner with sales teams and distribution channels to resolve compliance issues and generate direct sales.
• Educate internal and external stakeholders on software licensing and contractual compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in License Compliance Sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, business management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of the software industry, ideally in the design and construction segment.
• Ability to interpret complex legal and business concepts and conduct license reviews.
• Strong analytical research skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Exceptional Mandarin and English communication skills required.
