What you will do

• Advise Finance, HR, Sourcing, ExA, and other functional teams on procurement, contracts, labor and employment, privacy, healthcare professional interactions, and related legal matters.
• Review and negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to resolve legal issues and mitigate risks.
• Support the development and implementation of localization policies, procedures, and hirify.global China initiatives.
• Manage assigned claims, disputes, mediations, litigation, and arbitrations.
• Assist the General Counsel with projects and legal matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; a master’s degree or JD is preferred.
• PRC Bar qualification is required.
• At least five years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably combining law firm and in-house work in a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of PRC commercial, corporate, and compliance laws.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and independent working skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Familiarity with global compliance programs and multinational corporate environments.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
