Mission Analysis Engineer (Space)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland; up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area. A relocation package is available for candidates coming from another country.

What you will do

• Perform mission analysis activities covering requirements analysis, orbit definition, coverage analysis, ground-station definition, memory analysis, and station-keeping.
• Develop and maintain mission-analysis tools using MATLAB and internal hirify.global software.
• Define and develop software requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Support system studies focused on requirements definition and system characteristics.
• Apply mission analysis and software engineering knowledge throughout project development and analysis activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Background and interest in Space projects.
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics and MATLAB.
• Knowledge of simulations and algorithm implementation in MATLAB/Simulink is valued.
• Previous research and development experience is valued.
