What you will do
- Support early contractor involvement and bid phases with proposal, estimating, design, project management, construction, and commercial teams.
- Develop execution programmes, project controls strategies, schedules, estimates, reporting frameworks, and risk inputs.
- Establish and lead integrated project controls functions for live or temporary project assignments.
- Manage planning, scheduling, progress measurement, earned value, productivity tracking, cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate change control, risk and opportunity management, dashboards, period-end reporting, and management information.
- Lead and mentor planners, cost engineers, project controls engineers, and reporting resources while providing early warnings and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Experience managing project controls across engineering, procurement, construction, completions, and subcontracted scopes.
- Expertise in programme development, baseline management, critical path analysis, milestone tracking, lookahead planning, and schedule quality assurance.
- Experience with cost control, forecasting, earned value, productivity measurement, risk management, and change control.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide project controls governance and assurance.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Power BI, Sypro, Safran Risk, Excel, and related project systems.
- Availability to work onsite in Warrington, United Kingdom.
