MEP Project Planner

What you will do

• Create master baseline schedules and detailed project programmes in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Develop integrated schedules for pre-construction, construction, commissioning, design, procurement, installation, and closeout.
• Integrate trade contractor schedules and communicate planning and project-controls information to clients, design teams, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Track progress, produce weekly and monthly dashboards, and manage project KPIs and commissioning reports.
• Assess the programme impact of changes and prepare time-impact analyses for extension-of-time claims.
• Evaluate trade-contractor extension-of-time claims and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an M&E Planner, ideally on large commercial building-services projects.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Project is essential.
• Experience in construction planning for mechanical and electrical building-services contracting is essential.
• Strong communication, reporting, relationship-building, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict project timelines.
