TL;DR

Analytics Engineer (SQL/Databricks): Building and owning data products and semantic layers for the Insights & Activation area with an accent on data reliability, governance, and scalable metric definitions. Focus on modeling governed datasets, implementing data contracts, and supporting future AI-powered analytics capabilities.

Location: Stockholm, Sweden. Must have the right to work in the EU without limitations.

What you will do

  • Design and build governed data products with clear schemas, quality tests, lineage, and ownership.
  • Write SQL to model, transform, and validate structured data.
  • Build and maintain semantic definitions and certified metrics across analytics surfaces.
  • Collaborate with domain teams to improve data quality and upstream ownership.
  • Contribute to documentation, contracts, and standards to ensure reliable analytics.
  • Support the data foundation for embedded BI and future AI-powered analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills for data exploration, transformation, and validation.
  • Experience with dbt or similar tooling for governed data transformations.
  • Experience building or maintaining data products, semantic layers, or certified metrics.
  • Understanding of lineage, data contracts, canonical entities, and quality testing.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
  • Right to work in the EU without limitations is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience within retail tech or e-commerce.
  • Experience with Databricks or lakehouse-style data platforms.
