Group Leader (Set D Nights) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; onsite night-shift role working four nights on and four nights off, from 7pm to 7am

What you will do

• Lead the safe and effective operation of a production area within a wafer fabrication facility.
• Own area performance and contribute to starts, outs, deliveries, throughput, safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Manage, coach, mentor, and develop employees, including feedback, performance reviews, attendance, disciplinary, and capability processes.
• Plan staffing levels and skills coverage for holidays, overtime, training, and area flexibility.
• Coordinate with other group leaders, engineering, planning, and support functions to resolve issues and deliver fabrication priorities.
• Use production data to identify trends, communicate performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Full right to work in the United Kingdom is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to work four nights on and four nights off from 7pm to 7am.
• Previous team leadership, deputy leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience.
• Ability to lead, engage, and develop others while managing changing production priorities.
• Strong organisation, planning, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read, analyse, and present production data and consistently apply company processes.
