Senior Software Engineer in Test (Federal Classified)

Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC; employee must be on U.S. soil, including the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or U.S. outlying areas.

Annual base salary: $136,000–$187,000 USD, with potential equity, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Plan and scope testing with development and engineering leads to certify platform releases.
• Develop, maintain, and debug end-to-end and system test plans and automation for weekly releases.
• Set up and maintain test configurations and laboratory environments.
• Validate changes in test and staging environments for compatibility with existing customer deployments.
• Define critical test coverage from customer usage patterns and support high availability across product infrastructure.
• Act as the technical quality authority for software deployment and release efforts in the restricted environment.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Must be on U.S. soil and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance as required by government contracts.
• At least 4 years of software QA experience focused on release-based testing and validation.
• At least 4 years of experience in a SaaS environment and experience with both server-side and client-side device technology.
• Experience understanding, debugging, and maintaining existing automation code, such as Java-based automation.
• At least 4 years of experience developing and executing end-to-end or system test plans and maintaining test configurations and laboratory environments.
